2nd Essay Question Question
Well, the question is ' Assess the extent to which the Protestant Reformation promoted new expectations about social roles in the sixteenth century. Refer to at least two social groups in your response. ', right? Does Social Roles mean social issues or something (an example: Calvanism did not allow card games and required church attendance) or does it mean something else. And when it says Social Groups, i'm taking it to mean Religions??? I'm confused. Thanks

When I read the question, I thought he meant social groups like the 3 Estates kind of thing with the clergy, nobility, and peasants. I heard that another social group that could've been done was women...but I didn't find out anything about that. A friend of mine told me that Spielvogel had it outlined really well so you should check that.
yeah it's got some useful stuff in the textbook. i did like family (especially women), clergy, and noblility & princes for my 3 body paragraphs.
